Here are a few things that I encourage you to do to keep up with your regular school routines.
- Read 30 minutes daily
- Students can access Scope Magazine for free reading online by going to www. Scholastic.com, select login, student, and entering the code Fvms read (There is a space between the s and r)
- I also posted yesterday a resource for reading online
- Complete 2 passing ReadTheory quizzes weekly. This will keep your reading comprehension and answering question stems skills sharp!
- Complete Frayer models, review stem meanings
- www.Scholastic.com/learnathome has many fun, in (interactive ways to learn while school is out! There are activities in may different interest areas, and these change weekly.
- Practice writing and reflecting upon your life and the world around you. What are you doing with this time at home? How are you feeling about this new situation?
- This is also a great time to improve your cursive handwriting! You will need to be able to sign your name/write your signature as an adult for important documents, etc. www.k5learning.com/cursive-writing-worksheets
